When to try again🤞🤞

So we had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks, we had the medicine to help things move on, I was quiet poorly after it but I’m finally on the mend, the bleeding has stopped and I’ve just finished my antibiotics and had the negative pregnancy test too. My question is do you think it’s okay to start trying again? We’re both ready too but I didn’t know if anyone had fallen pregnant straight after and it’s all been okay?

If you wanted to track ovulation maybe after your first period so you have an idea when you might ovulate. But if bleeding and any discomfort has stopped you can start when you like 😀 good luck and hope you get your positive again very soon

@Rachel thank you so much xx

Really sorry to hear this. I experienced something very similar. The hospital told us it was okay to try again straight away. We got pregnant after 1 period but unfortunately I had another miscarriage. The nurses said then I should wait at least 3 months to let my body get back to normal. The think my lining may not have been thick enough. Currently pregnant again after waiting 3 months. X

@Kirstie thank you and I’m so sorry about your losses, fingers crossed for you in the near future xx

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks passed it all naturally. Then I fell pregnant straight away and had my daughter. They never advised me not to try straight away it just makes the dating awkward initially.

I was advised to wait for at least 1 period (preferably 3 if it's a later MC) as it gives your body and mind time to heal a bit but also for tracking the dates. It's quite difficult if you don't have the date of your last period as a MC isn't a period and it can add extra worries when not knowing how far along you should be compared to how far along you actually are if that makes sense xx
