We did for the first three months and it was a life saver for us! And he sleeps really well on his own now with no issues. He actually completely refuses to sleep in bed with us now 😂 but yeah it was sooo helpful.

I did it from 3 months on because I was too scared initially. But then I read “Sweet Sleep” book by LLLI , with all the research on co-sleeping, and it convinced me it’s safe if done right. I will be bedsharing with my next baby from birth, you and baby get so much more sleep that way ! Just make sure you follow Safe Sleep 7 rules.

My baby is almost 4 months. We've been cosleeping since he was around 2 weeks. It was the only way we were both getting sleep and the easiest way to handle night feeds since I'm breastfeeding. If I had been more prepared rather than scared of cosleeping I would have done it since bringing him home. I absolutely love it! And we are both still sleeping really well at night.
The only rough part is that he has refused to sleep in his bassinet since we started cosleeping. So I have to either hold him for his first stretch of night sleep or be in bed with him when he goes to bed. I haven't had luck being able to roll away and have him stay asleep.

I coslept with my baby at night for his first 5-6 months! I always made sure he had his own space in the bed with no blankets/pillows. daytime naps were almost always in his crib unless we were contact napping. i stopped cosleeping once he became more mobile (able to roll) as I felt the risk of him rolling off the bed was too high. he is now 14 months and a great sleeper! the transition to sleeping in his crib at night wasn’t bad since he was already used to taking naps in his crib during the day. I just made sure to use the same sleep routine at night as I did during the day (dark room, sound machine, bottle). he loves his crib now actually and hates sleeping anywhere but his crib 😅

Absolutely I done it every time it's so much easier cause baby don't even need to cry most time when needs something just rolling around would wake me enough to know baby needed food so I could feed while still kinda half asleep and never had to get up so I felt like I got more sleep then if I were had to get up every time aka wake fully up and then have hard time getting back to sleep

6 months in, and he’s been sleeping the entire night (me as well) since 2 months! We bedshare/breastfeed on top of cosleep. 🤍

The first 2 weeks I was to afraid to but I literally barely got any sleep ever ngl. Then I started napping with him with someone else there awake to make sure all was well. It was working so I kept it up. Eventually no one could watch over us like that of course but we've been co sleeping safely since. I love it because yes I get a good 8-10hrs of sleep every night.
I feel like at first it's more anxiety inducing tho and you gotta be more careful because they can't move their own little heads around very well.
But after month 2/3 is when I was more comfortable doing it

We did a bassinet next to the bed and our son almost slept through the night from the start. He’d wake up for one feeding around midnight to 1a. He’s 17 months now and still sleeps through the night.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
