Working in nursery with LG
I'm going back to work next week, only part time but I am still so anxious about the whole thing. The upside is I'll be working at the same nursery my little one attends. I have mixed feelings about this, I am so glad she'll be so close at all times but I'm worried about when I'm working in the baby room with her (which won't be every time I'll be between toddler and babies for now)
Does anyone else do this? How has it been?
She has only been away from me for 1.5hrs (for my interview for the job), so I'm not sure how she'll cope with me in the same room but not having her usual access to me (she's EBF so thats one big thing she won't be able to have even if I'm right there with her)
Any tips?
I was in the same position when my girl was at nursery in the baby room. However, I wasn’t allowed to be in the same room so tried to keep in seperate until she was in the other rooms and settled. I was then moved to the baby room and after school club. It was nice to know she was in the same building and speak to the other staff about how she was getting on. It’ll be fine can’t you speak with the manager and ask if you can stay in the toddlers until she settles
