Getting pregnant again after a C-section

Just wondering, how many people on here have gotten pregnant again within 12 months after a C-section. Did you actually have any issues as I know they say don’t get pregnant again until 12 months so even say 18 to 24 months. TIA

I'm actually pregnant with baby #2 via c-section with my 1st. My daughter is 16 months and I do plan to have another c-section.

I got pregnant 10 months pp and kids were 19 months apart. Everything was fine.

Pregnant with baby #2 now (conceived about 10 months PP) and have had zero issues. No medical staff have said anything about it being a problem, and on an early reassurance scan they said my internal scar looked great.

I got pregnant 9 months after my first, I was advised 18 months between births. I had no complications and baby and me were fine x

I’m pregnant with my second, had a section dec 22 and due July 24 so I was 10 months pp when I conceived and it’s never been mentioned xx

I'm 27 weeks and 3 days and my daughter is 10.5 months I had a c section last June and will be having another July this year xx

I have twice

I’ve had three C-sections in three years

I got pregnant 6 months after my first c section had my daughter April 19 2023 sister is due July 9th 2024 and I’ve had no issues my doctor said to me when I came back was “ you miss me that much “

@Kirsty ah so really close! Was your little one 4 months when you got pregnant the second time? I want a small age gap between my daughter & my next baby but was worried about uterine rupture and the other issues they scare you with xx

Yeah 3/ 4 months pp , I was told to watch out for any unusual pain in mY scar and get checked whenever I needed too , so far everything is going great 👍 xxx

@Kirsty that’s good to hear! 😊 xx

I got pregnant 8 months after my csection. Nothing has been mentioned about the timing. I feel like crap in general but have had no pain near my scar at all xx

I was told 18 months between births ( I haven’t had another after my c section though) but that means 10 months pp would be the least amount of time. I think 12 months is just fine!

If you’re wanting another 6 section then you don’t have to wait a specific. Amount of time. I definitely would to make sure there aren’t complications. But if you’re wanting a vbac definitely wait 9/10 months pp at least

My son is gonna be 4 months this Friday and I’m currently pregnant right now

@Gabrielle thank you! I would be opting for another C-section. I didn’t realise it would be longer for a VBAC though! That’s good to know, thank you

Im currently pregnant again after having my son via csection! I got pregnant when he was 3 months old. This pregnancy definitely hurts more (physically) as far as cramping and scar tissue from the inside. I’m due in July, so almost there! Sending you good vibes! Take it easy

I was pregnant again probably about 10 months postpartum. No issues.

I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant. My little girl is 10 months and I had a section with her. I’ve not had any problems x
