Making friends

Sounds exactly the same as my little one!❤️

Not really but from what I know children at that age rarely play with other children they don’t really know because they don’t feel connected to them, once they get to know someone they feel more confident and that is the case with my son.

Yeh mine is a bit of both. I don’t see him play very much with our friends’ kids. But he talks about friends at nursery, so who knows!?

My son doesn’t do nursery but we recently visited his cousin that he hasn’t seen since tiny and made very good friends, they were playing together, sharing food and toys and now he constantly asks to ring him. He also went soft play this weekend and after a while he started following some kids (a lot were very mean telling him to go away) but one boy who was about 3/4 came over and played with him then they didn’t leave each others side until we left. He is usually a very shy boy as he’s not around children often (starting nursery in Sept) but when he is confident he does try to make ‘friends’ xx
