I would talk to your health visitor but sounds like baby is definitely hungry! If she is meeting all the signs of being ready no reason not to introduce some weaning🥰
My HV said at our last visit to ignore the 4+ as its a marketing ploy and we should 100% wait till the 6 month mark But I know advice can differ, and all babies are different, so best to speak to your HV in my opinion x
I saw a paediatrician today and mentioned I’d started baby rice (only tried some) the other day as my baby has just turned 4 months and was the same, constantly hungry and very interested in food! He said it’s absolutely fine and to start with baby cereals first (baby rice, porridge etc) keeping it as bland as possible. But ofcourse disclaimer you should always seek advice. My LG did like it but was frustrated as she didn’t get the same quick gratification as she does from a bottle; so I had a bottle ready and get her half before and the rest after the rice! Same brand as the formula I use x
She only had a couple of spoonfuls before we went back to the bottle so I don’t think we’re quite ready for the weaning yet🥲
baby’s need milk for the nutrients at least up until one ! but yes definitely try purées with her in between feeds.
