Anyone else find the early evening baby becomes abit frantic?

Frantic is the only way I can describe it… little guy is 5 weeks old and early evening from about 5ish onwards all he wants is to feed, I’m talking non stop wood-pecker my face and shoulder if not. He’s really challenging to calm during this period and his breathing gets faster and all he wants to do is be on the boob. So difficult I have a toddler to get ready for bed etc in the end to get a break as soon as my partner got home yesterday I got him to give an expressed bottle of milk so I could do my daughters bedtime. Not sustainable as I’m not pumping a big enough stash… anyone else finding this with their little one?

My daughter gives me a tough time every night before bed, she feeds well on both breast and formula but still cries. Last night I cleaned her with wet towels and she slept well. She wakes up twice to feed and change diapers. She will be 2 months old in 4 days to come.

My baby is 8 weeks old and feeds non stop from about 5 until 7.30/8 when he will fall asleep and sleep until about 10.30/11 it is the longest he goes down for, then he will only manage about an hour and half at a time, constantly wakes up for a feed. He was 9'9 when was born and is now 13'2 he's just a big hungry boy that's all x

It’s the witching hour! Google it 😊 my son was exactly the same. He would feed from 5-9pm constantly and if he wasn’t on the boob, be squirming or crying. It’s exhausting but doesn’t last forever. My son’s almost 9 weeks now and it’s definitely getting better now. Hes a lot more content in the early eve now.

They are going to go through a growth spurt so cluster feeding through the witching hour. My 5 weeks old is the sane and it is a pain but should calm down in a week or so x

Oh god the witching hour… last night it went on and on until 11:30pm! 🥹
