Help 😩

My little on has been on Aptamil pepti 1 for his CMPA for around 4 weeks however yesterday out of the blue he started exhibiting the same symptoms that lead us to the diagnosis, he’s dirtying every nappy again with very wet and mucusy poos & starting to become reluctant to feed again and very snuffly & snotty, has anyone experienced this after there little one was settled on pepti 1 ? I’m really nervous as he also has a heart defect and any drop in weight would land us in the hospital even though it may not be related to his heart

It's common in the first 6 weeks for symptoms to return around the 2-4 week mark and then rapidly improve again. Is there any chance he's sick at all as that can also impact feeding and cause mucus.

My little one has cmpa, she was started on pepti 1 and it’s helped a little on the first 2 weeks and then she started getting her symptoms back but my little had some different symptoms, she was passing a lot of blood in her stools and was bleeding, so they think her allergy is quiet severe, so as I combi feed I also have to stop dairy and soya but they have now moved her into sma alfermino which has no cows milk in it at all it is amino acid based and it has helped her massively, been on it 3 weeks and no sign of blood anymore and her skin is so much clearer 🤞🏻 feel free to message me if you want to x

is snuffy/ snotty nose a symptom of cmpa?? x

@Libby it can be, my daughter had one for weeks and then her other symptoms started to show up and was then diagnosed with cmpa x

Personally my little one didn’t have that x

So just tried our first neocate bottle after my health visitor changed him today, completely refused it no idea what to do 😩
