Is this a mucus poo?

My baby is displaying a rash and I’m wondering if it could be a cmpa. I’ve read that they get mucus poos when this is the case but I have no idea what that would look like (FTM). So wondering if this looks like a mucus poo to anyone? Thanks in advance!!

It doesn’t look overly mucus-y to me. I had a period where I thought my baby had CMPA as he had constant mucus poos that smelt vinegary but it was a reaction to infacol! As soon as I stopped, the poos stopped. They can also be a bit mucus-y when they have a cold

Thank you, that’s a good thing then. Out of interest, what is it that you should be looking for in a mucus poo? This one looks a lot smoother than her usual ones. They often have little lumps in, like blobs of stuff but this photo only has two. Once I decided to post a photo on here I was too impatient to wait for her next one as she only goes once a day. Such a lovely subject lol and thank you x

So the lumps and blobs are super normal to have but also to not have all the time. That’s just fat from the milk and can look like little seeds. This is gross, but the best way to describe mucus is like thick, jelly snot texture. If you squeeze the nappy, you’ll see it all stringy and sticking to other bits of the nappy if that makes sense?

No mucus, just loose. Mucus will be long stringy bits you can see. My little girl has CMPA so I’ve seen plenty 😂 they can also get it when teething though too x
