No they usually do then at 39 weeks latest

Good news though is if your water breaks you get an instant slot so 🤞🏻 your baby pushes things forward

I’m 36 weeks and went to see my consultant yesterday. She rang through to the ward and due to no appt slots I’m going in at 40 weeks and 2 days. I know my local hospital is now quite busy due to two other localish hospitals (both within 30 mins of it) have closed down labour and birthing wards so I think they are struggling to keep up with demand as with my first little girl 2.5 years ago I was 38 weeks and 5 days having my c section x

I was booked in for 40+3 but rang and asked to go on the cancellation list. They called me and said someone had birth their baby early so there was a slot available the next day so I had her 39+3 so it’s worth asking xx

I had mine done at 41 weeks
