How long was everyone’s Labour with first baby?
Currently 40 weeks with first baby and have been having contractions since 3:30am. Been to the hospital at 5:30 and was 2cm dilated so they sent me home and told me to come back when contractions are every 2 minutes and a minute long. I’m currently on 2 mins between contractions and each one is intense and over a minute long however when calling the hospital they told me to still wait because first pregnancies can be in this state for 24-48 hours. I’m just worried I’ll end up not making it to the hospital.

@Cat ❤️🦄 got a few more hours to go then. Just really struggling dealing with the pain at home now
Mine was 8 hours from my waters breaking to her arriving! Was 5cm by the time we reached the hospital. Luckily (weirdly) she had messed inside me so my waters were brown, so we had to go straight away otherwise I may not have made it! X
@Chloe I’m slowly approaching the 9th hour. Managed to fall asleep for about 20 mins if that. Got up and felt a trickle but it was dark brown so on my way back to check if baby hasn’t had a poo inside
Aaw good luck! Everything was fine, I just had to be monitored constantly. But it caused no problems ☺️ x
