I’m going to follow Charlotte Stirling reeds ‘how to wean your baby’
You can get a free Ella’s book at boots with the parenting club. It’s not just selling Ella’s stuff. There’s recipes too
The Charlotte Stirling book and also the app solid starts are great
I use 'solid start app' and Hipp table for weaning.
I wrote a list of all the high allergens and wrote them on the calendar with 2 days between each allergen. The days between each allergen we are trying different fruits and veg. When we've tested the allergens that are in most foods we'll be able to introduce more
Also followed the How to wean your baby book
@Megan can I ask how old your baby is? We’ve been doing purées since 4m and she’s now nearly 6m but I’m nervous to introduce baby led foods so early? Xx
I have the Charlotte Stirling book too. However I have also followed an account on TikTok called ‘Moon & Rue’ which is amazing and she’s releasing a book on 13th June which I’ve already preordered on Amazon and highly recommend to others just based off of her TikTok account.
@Rachel she’s 6 months on Tuesday. I did a cpr & choking course so it’s definitely put my mind at ease & she absolutely loves feeding herself. Slowly increasing the things I give her but now she rarely eats purées, she just spits them out 🤣 xx
There’s a really helpful group on FB called Weaning the BLW Way - it has loads of advice on introducing solids. X
I know some people like the ella kitchen ‘map’ online. The solid starts app looks helpful as well!
