Introducing food

I just introduced real food to my LO and I wanna know how do u make your baby eat without forcing him to eat if that make any sense 😂. I started with carrots and zucchini and he seems to hate both. I’ve been struggling for 2 weeks, any tip or trick would be appreciated🤷🏻‍♀️ 🙏🏻♥️

Are you spoon feeding him? Some babies like to feed themselves. Are you eating when he is, and is it the same thing? What really got my LO interested was making a little extra off my plate and giving that to him. Ex: 3 eggs instead of two for scrambled eggs and just let him go to town, and we ate the same time. I was 1. modelling how to eat, and 2. he saw my food, so he wanted it. 😂 There’s also the possibility that he’s just not interested in food yet, and that’s fine! Some babies don’t really want to eat just yet, as the first year their main nutrition comes from formula/breastmilk anyway. My LO went straight to mainly solids with purées as like a side. I wanted him to experience a variety of textures to explore so that when it does come time to really eat, he’ll have the best time. 🤍

@Erin Thank you ♥️.I actually didn’t try to eat with him at the same time and I started with purée now because I’m so scared he wouldn’t be able to swallow food . I will try to eat with hime today and see how it goes because he really seems interested in food every time I eat my food but when it comes to his meal he closes his mouth and starts screaming 🙄😂😂.

My daughter loves pouches front Serenity, Cerebelly, and Happy Baby. There are so many that ste actually really tasty.

Babies usually stop pushing food out of their mouth when they’re ready to eat. If they keep their mouth closed, they’re usually not ready yet.

Try pure mixed with breast milk in a bottle so they can get used to texture

Thank you mamas will try that ♥️
