They’re ratios, 1:3 babies, 1:5 for 2 years, 1:8 for 3, unless they have a QTS then it’s 1:13.
Parent partnership? Are they using an app to update you on progress/what they’ve eaten in a day, nappies etc
Is it free flow? Access to garden at all times?
Key person approach?
Staff turn over which is important, as if staff are leaving frequently can disrupt baby and make it more difficult to settle
Do they offer settle sessions? If so how many and how long (these should be free)
Do they do stretched funding? Or just term time only?
They should go through, routine with u and feeding at the nursery. What they do if baby has an allergy etc, all nurseries are nut free.
They should also mention qualified/non qualified staff and medically trained.
But the ones above, I’d say is most important.
I would always go off how u feel and how baby seems, sometimes they can paint the nursery to be amazing in reality it isn’t. Always trust ur instinct
