Umbilical cord

Looks absolutely fine. When it drops off it’s still go a stump in there to dry up. Think of it like a scab, when you pick a scab or when it falls off it still has to heal a bit, exactly the same as the cord site. If the skin around turns red and feels really hot, baby has a temperature or the site starts oozing a lot then speak to 111.

Looks healthy. Just keep it clean with cool boiled water whilst it heals.
