Confused!

Hi all I'm in a bit of a panick and confused which numbers I'm meant to call for what reason. Context: I'm 2 months pregnant, had my first antenatal appt last week where they took my bloods and a vaginal swab. I was told I'd get results in myMFT/myChart app but I've not got anything and I need to know what's wrong with me in the downstairs region to know what medicine to get. My antenatal appt is at eccles gateway, my scans are at lanceburn centre and I'm going to be giving birth at St Mary's Oxford. So like 3 different areas, 3 different teams..so annoying 😑 Who do I call to chase up my results? I just need a number! 🥲🥲🥲

How long have you been waiting? St Mary's would call if there us sth wrong. I'd call the team that took the sample or your community midwife.

Id try your GP first if they don't have results then they will hopefully be able to point you in the right direction x

@Magda my appt was last Wednesday so it's been just over a week. I defo have something either uti or bv or infection or thrush idk which one but I'm defo expecting something to come back. How do I know who my community midwife is? I've only has 1 appt and it was with a lady who was covering for someone else.

All results should go to the GP - definitely check them first 😊

Update : rang gp, nothing came through. The receptionist gave me the radio room number. Rang them, got pinged around about 4 times and ended up at lanceburn centre. Hahaha thankfully got it sorted. And if anyone was wondering...I have thrush 🥲

Vinegar and Epson salt in the bath helped me! Only for 15 mins a time

In my MFT app you should have antenatal care and a number to call. Did you meet your midwife? Get canisten OTC so it will help if its thrush ( I had it early on in pregnancy). Did you get a pregnancy pack? There should be some numbers there, if not just go to GP and ask for help!

Ring antenatal at st Mary and they put you through to a midwife sometimes.
