Anti-Hate Badge: A Thank You for Keeping Peanut Safe

Anti-Hate Badge: A Thank You for Keeping Peanut Safe

We’re passionate about keeping Peanut a safe, positive platform for women to engage in fun, meaningful conversations. So we’re introducing the Anti-Hate Badge.
That means that we have a zero-tolerance policy for any racism, hate speech, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, and bigotry.

Peanut is a community of support and empowerment, and this type of behavior goes against our mission and is not welcome on our platform.

To ensure that everyone on Peanut upholds our values, we ask every user to agree to our Community Guidelines.

But unfortunately, sometimes our rules are broken.

Today, we’re launching something new to help keep Peanut hate-free.

We can’t do this without your support, so we’re calling upon our community to continue to uphold these values, and introducing our brand-new anti-hate badge.

How it works

Our anti-hate badge recognizes anyone that helps to keep Peanut free of off-limits content.

It’s a way of encouraging you ‒ our community ‒ to look out for one another, and to always speak up if you see something that goes against our guidelines.

While we support freedom of speech, we don’t support abusing that freedom to harm, bully, or attack people online.

So from today onwards, if we remove a post or comment that you’ve reported for hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, or bigotry, we’ll give you the option to add the anti-hate badge to your profile.

Think of it as a thanks from us for keeping Peanut safe.

Because we believe that if we come together, we can protect our platform and keep Peanut hate-free.

How to report something

When our rules are broken, we never hesitate to take action.

That means that anyone engaging in racist or hateful behavior receives a lifetime ban from Peanut.

Period.

So if you spot something off-limits, tap the three dots in the corner of a post or comment and select ‘report’.

This’ll go straight to our unbiased moderation team who can investigate the user.

It’s that simple!

Thank you for helping us ensure that Peanut is a safe space for women.

If you have any feedback or questions, you can get in touch here.

We’re always looking for ways to better serve our community.
