Congratulations!!! Double the love!! My only advice is remember to breathe and to enjoy it as much as you can. I’ve never had a baby but they seem like they grow so fast but don’t be afraid asking for help!

Having one baby is hard.I cannot imagine two! My advice: 1. accept help, if you have friends/relatives you trust. 2. Buy sleep & plays—ones that zip. Pulling onesies over your baby’s floppy little body is a -5 on the 1-10 fun scale. For twins, I would definitely recommend at least 16. (I would buy preemie, newborn, and 0-3 mo, if not even further out. They grow so fast!) 3. Make sure they have seats they can sit propped up in. They may not be able to use them for a couple months, but they are a godsend when a baby is unable to burp and you can’t lay them on their back. 4. If you’re planning to breastfeed, it definitely doesn’t hurt to try to boost your supply right away with a lactation supplement because you’ll get the best results within the first month after they are born. 5. Don’t be afraid to tell people “thank you, but no”, or “not today”. Sometimes people will get selfish, and forget what it is like to have a newborn—let alone twins! 6. It gets easier. Hang in there!

Ah ok I was trying to figure out how far along you are in this bc my 8 week scan looked a lot different! But every pregnancy is different 😝 & yours is super different bc your having TWO!

Those of you pregnant with twins - did you have lots of symptoms due to hcg? Or twins running in the family?? I'm due 15th July but not had a scan yet so just excited to hear about your twins!

I had zero symptoms until the end and zero twins in our families !! Haha 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve been nauseous pretty much constantly (today is my first day on Bonjesta which has helped tremendously), food aversions to just about everything, acid reflux, really bad stomach aches, and restless legs at night. I had cramps in the first couple of weeks but those have mostly gone away now. My great grandmother was a twin. But we think ours might be identical (we’ll fine out for sure in our next appointment) which actually don’t run in families.

Congratulations how exciting! Im a triplet (all girls) and so far we’ve all had single births. I have a 9m Boy and one sister has 5 girls 11y-1y and the other has 3 girls 12-6. I hope it’d skip us three as i dont think i could handle two/three at one time lol

We tend to go two on one haha But my actual twin hasnt been the best person to be around since my pregnancy and then me having the boy... jealousy i think. They have 5 girls and no boy when they actively tried for one, and then i get one unplanned lol The other one adores him

Just enjoy every moment of it. It’s amazing ❤️❤️. Don’t expect it to be the same as someone who has just one baby, don’t expect them to do things at the same time as each other. Ask for help when you need it. Get a decent double pram and twin feeding pillow and then just let the rest fall into place. Congratulations! It’s something very very special.
Congrats! Ill be 33 weeks thursday my first pregnancy and its twin girls. Its definitely an adventure and sometimes i feel like my body cant take it anymore just remember the longer the better for the babies!💖

I found my morning sickness worse with my single baby than I have with these twins.. Don’t know if it’s because my first was a girl and these are one of each x

My twin girls are almost 10wks old! 😍 Enjoy your pregnancy as much as you might get uncomfortable it goes fast even though it doesn’t feel like it at the time 😂 Don’t ever be hard on yourself and ask for help whenever you need it from close ones around you!

How far along did you guys do your first ultrasound?? Scheduled for ours on dec 18th at 7 weeks 2 days and have a big feeling we are having twins. LITERALLY COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS!!

I was 7 weeks and 1 day at our first ultrasound. I ovulated a week late though so when they made the appointment they thought I was 8 weeks based on the first day of my last period. It felt like having to wait years though to get the first ultrasound. Especially with all the nausea I was having!
They scheduled my first one for 12 weeks but I was cramping so they saw me at 6 weeks and found twins!
Just ordered the book, thanks for the recommendation! I do not know yet! Will find out more about our twins at my 12 weeks visit in January! Can’t wait!!!

It was unexpected! Apparently identical twins are spontaneous and don’t run in families.
