Recording my podcast this week on paternal postpartum depression and it's been on my mind ever since.

We ask "how's mom doing" a hundred times after a baby comes. How often does anyone ask dad? Research says roughly 1 in 10 fathers experience depression in that first year, and it often shows up as anger or numbness rather than sadness, which makes it so easy to miss.

Anyone else notice this with your partner? Or notice yourself becoming the one everyone forgets to ask? Would love to hear your experience. 💙

Hey there! So my family has been experiencing some drama regarding my adopted brother(10) touching my niece (7) sexually and has showing my son(10) porn. We have a boundary in place where our children cannot be around my adopted brother due to safety reasons. The family is divided because my older sisters say we’re being too harsh since he’s just a child himself which I completely get and we’ve requested he also goes to therapy which my parents put him in now. Like are we being too harsh? Am I the asshole for putting that boundary?
