Breastfeeding

Formula guilt

I was absolutely able to breastfeed but my baby had a bad latch so it hurt really bad to latch her on to me. I started pumping and would get so much but then my husband went back to work and I couldn’t find time to pump as much so my supply dropped to where I was only getting drops at a time. I feel so much shame and guilt around formula feeding because on social media all I hear is how moms are selfish if they use formula. My question is has anyone else felt like this? Is there any way to get over the guilt?

Newborn

Hi Everyone! I've just started formula feeding with made up formula today and I'm wondering once you add the formula to the boiling water and it makes it slightly more because of the volume would you then class the extra as what they've actually had?

So for example if I make up 60ml and then add the formula it turns it to 70ml so if he takes all of that does that mean he's taken 60 or 70ml? Thanks!

New to formula

Hi! I’m currently transitioning from breastfeeding to formula feeding, and I feel like I have to relearn everything all over again now. My biggest question - HOW do you leave the house?🤣 My formula says you have to make it fresh so do you just have to pack everything with you?

Similac moms

Are there any Similac moms who could use some of their coupons? I have like 30+ dollars in coupons but switched to parents choice brand so can’t use them. I want someone to be able to use them

Switching formula

Hi mamas! My baby girl came 9 weeks early/31 weeks on June 1st and was in the NICU for 5 weeks. I combo fed for about 4 months after she came home and it became too much for me to handle. She was sent home from the NICU on similac neosure and that’s what we’ve been using with no issues. Well with inflation we can no longer afford it. Neosure is one of the more expensive formulas I know, but I was looking at possibly changing her to this. How do I go about that process? Can I just switch her over?
