I had a referral from my GP, and I choose the clinic (only 1 option listed). As the website said to be seen might take 19 weeks, so I sent a message to them and requested an ASAP appointment. The automated message from them was that if they dont contact me by August, give them a call. They didnt send me any text or email confirmation about the appointment they gave me in July? If I didnt sign in on the app I would have missed it. Is this normal that they forgot to nofity people about their appointment?

What do I expect on the first appointment? Questions to ask. Is it only me or my partner as well who needs to attend? No wording about that in the letter.

Do you know a reliable source for checking NHS funded IVF by postcode?

I heard that certain areas are dropping age limits from 40 to 38.

I first spoke to the GP in March asking for a referral but instead of giving it straight away he sent me to blood test and ultrasound, my partner to semen analysis. Which took only 2 weeks for me and 3 months for him because no available dates and the GP still didnt come back to comment on my ulteasound. Taking his time for sure.

Now it seems my area dropped the age limit so we are out of funds? What is the quickest way to get started?

Hey , I’m just wondering if someone could shed some light on the next steps of the process. I’ve had my scans , had my bloods and I’m meeting my consultant on Wednesday to discuss the results. I suffer with PCOS , and haven’t had a period this year at all - will they want me to have a period before the stimulation meds for the egg retrieval?

I have been trying to conceive, I went to a specialist where I had my labs done.. only to receive a AMH at 0.4. Is there anything that is helpful that could boast my AMH level?
