I just recently had my baby girl December 23rd, 2025, and I wasn’t able to keep her due to financial reasons and wanting the best life for her giving her up for adoption was one of the most hardest decisions ever, and I have no friends during this time of grief. It was an open adoption I can still visit and get pictures of her milestones, but apart of me wish I would’ve kept her. Am I a bad mother because in that moment I thought I was doing what was best for her, but now I feel horrible like I didn’t even try. This has been so hard on me. I ask God for strength everyday, but this is a decision I have to live with for the rest of my life. 🥺

Are there any good adoption agencies in Houston, Texas?

How do I go about trying to put my baby up for adoption? This wasn’t a planned pregnancy and I don’t have the funds nor the resources to take care of her. Can someone please give me some resources to an adoption agency? I want her to go to a good family. I’m in Houston, Texas.

We are just about to start our adoption process, UK based. We have looked at our LA and a private company then will compare to choose who we go forwards with.

Anyone else in a similar position?

My partner wants to adopt my son soon but we don’t know how to go out it as looked into it but it says online about biological dads. My son’s biological dad isn’t in his life and when I’ve tried to contact he doesn’t want to know and is also rude about it. So would we need to have him approve the adoption still even though he isn’t on the birth certificate?
