Pregnancy symptoms

Never had issues with thyroid, all of a sudden they suspect hashimoto

Hi everyone My blood work before pregnancy was always fine. Now I'm 8 months post partum...2 months ago I started feeling dizzy and having vertigo. Also pain in the calves and headaches. I did blood test whilst on holiday as I was feeling unwell and they suspect hashimoto. I never had it before . Did someone had the experience of having it postpartum whilst breastfeeding and then it went away?? Why did it come ??? I feel a bit distraught as I had a difficult pregnancy and now feel like it ruined my health 😭

Postpartum symptoms

What is your experience in postpartum with your thyroid?

Anyone also experiencing postpartum thyroiditis? I am currently 6 weeks postpartum and in my hyper phase and my number were off the charts high. I stopped taking my Synthroid and was told to wait for my body to swing hypo. Curious how others may have experienced this.

Pregnancy symptoms

How bad is this?

I’m not trying to conceive. I’ve had my two babies and they came with a lot of problems including me developing the autoimmune one hashmitoes when I was pregnant with my first child. My tsh had always been normal and my T4 always low. I’ve had pretty high tpo’s. My latest blood test today says tsh 24.5 and T4 6. Didn’t test my tpo’s today. My last tsh was Like 6 months ago and 2.6 or something like that. I have been very achey and tired and feeling generally run down and like I look rubbish but i have a 1 year old and 2 year old and work part time so didn’t think much of it x

Aspirin during pregnancy

Hi everyone. I’ve just been told to take a 150mg aspirin daily to help prevent pre-eclampsia due to having hashimotos.

Has anyone else been told this?

I’m on my 3rd pregnancy and never was told to take aspirin on the previous 2!

TIA :)

First trimester worries

Unsure on blood results

Recently had some blood work as Dr was concerned about how fatigued I am 4 almost 5 months postpartum. TSH > 100mIU/L Free T4 2.2pmol/L Everything I can see says these numbers are severe. I’ve never dealt with this before and everything I’m reading points this to be something more than postpartum thyroiditis. I’m exhausted and feel like a rubbish mum for not being able to function right now. Any insight? Not looking for diagnosis obviously just would like advice :) x
