I wanted to create a group for Mums who like to keep fit and want to share tips, workouts and exercises they're into.
Especially in these current times it might be good to share what you are doing to keep fit from home or in the outdoors if you can't get to your usual gyms or classes etc.
This isn't a group for weight loss, this is a group for mums who use exercise to help them feel great!
You could use this as an accountability group if this is good for your motivation.
Please feel free to talk about nutrition, but please do not use this group to promote and discuss specific diets/food restriction.

13 months postpartum and goals

My old joy of the gym came from stress release, anger release, and weight loss.

Im now avoiding weight or waistline or clothing size or really any astetic goals, but i do still need something to work towards. Yes i want to be able to chase and carry my son for as long as possible but thats not an east to define goal. I want to be able to do a pullup again but thats it. What are some other strength/health based goals that have NOTHING to do with the scale.

What are your goals?

At home workout suggestions?

So, before I moved farther away from my family (for hubbys work) I used to go to the gym all of the time at least 3 times a week, My mom would watch my kids while I was at the gym, but i’ve moved away from them and i’m closer to my mother in law, and she refuses to watch my kids for longer then 30 minutes so I can go work out and be better for everyone in my life health wise (I have preexisting chronic health conditions that need me to work out to live better and longer and I also love working out) Does anyone have any work out suggestions? I am losing my mind not being able to work out and better my self😩

Has your partner ever not been supportive over your body changes from gym?

I've been going to the gym since Nov. 2023. I'm finally seeing definition in my shoulders. Got home said I have something amazing to show you. I took my shirt off showed him my gains and was told "that's gross" "soon youll look like a man" and him walking out of the bedroom chest pumped up Lats flared saying "I'm Victoria look at my gains". My feeling as beyond hurt right now. I told him and he's apologized acouple times. But I use to be 340lbs I'm so proud of where I've came from and to finally see my hard work is paying off. I could just cry I told him I'll show someone else how proud I am of myself. I'm at a loss for words. Idc if he finds it gross this is what myself and my body loves to do. It makes me wonder if he will be here when I get where I want to be or if he'll make me feel like shit about myself.
