Endometriosis. What is it? • Endometriosis occurs when bits of the tissue that lines the uterus (endometrium) grow on other pelvic organs, such as the ovaries or fallopian tubes. Outside the uterus, endometrial tissue thickens and bleeds, just as the normal endometrium does during the menstrual cycle. • Endometriosis Awareness Month: March • Endometriosis Awareness Ribbon: 🎗 • On this page you will find: ~ Pinned : Blogs, Websites & Podcasts ~ Weekly Posts: Links to informative articles about: symptoms, treatments, workouts, diets, personal stories, what to ask during doctor visits, preparing for surgery, recovery on surgery etc. ~ All kinds of views of how to care for Endo flare ups such as: * All Natural Remedies (herbal tea, change in diet, yoga/workouts, meditation, Holistic Nutrition) * Western Medicine(Surgeries, Pain Killers, doctor visits) • I encourage you all to share your story. post questions and get to know the ladies of this group. It's very important to support each other, especially when a lot of people don't understand {or believe} in the daily pain we endure. • Millions of women suffer from Endometriosis and yet there is no cure. It's important we share our stories. You never know. Perhaps there's a connection. Perhaps someone has a similar story. It's also comforting to know you're not suffering alone.
