Emotional at child leaving nursery

I’ve just dropped my son off for the last time to nursery as he’s going school in September, and as soon as I got in the car I cried. When I think about it I well up 😒 He has his leavers party at nursery later on and I know I’m going to be an emotional mess! Anyone else feeling this way?

Baby sleep

Bed sharing 4 year old

Anyone any tips on how to get your 4 year old to sleep in their own bed at night time. He wakes at 11pm and will be put back in his own bed but wakes again soon after and comes in again, this time refusing to go back in his bed. Him and Dad end up swapping beds every night

Baby sleep

Discomfort at night

Hi, I’m looking for advice. My youngest (7 months) over the last 3 weeks is having difficulty at night. She goes down fine but about an hour - 3 hours after bedtime she wakes and it’s like she’s uncomfortable, she’s trying to sleep but as she nods off is pulling knees up, fidgeting, crying, can’t get comfy, will only settle on me and I can’t put her down. It’s not been every night but has come out the blue and can last an hour or 2. I try winding her, tummy massages, changing positions in case it’s wind but nothing ever comes up. She calms with a lot of rocking which the rest of the time for naps and sleeps she doesn’t need and usually doesn’t like. It’ll then suddenly pass and she’s fine the rest of the night. Feeds, nods straight off and back in the cot first time (🀞) I’ve cut right back on her solids in case they were a bit too heavy. She’s a really easy going baby and hardly cries apart from this thing that’s happening most nights between 9 and midnight

Just wondered if anyone’s had this before with their little ones and what it could be / how to stop it? (Sorry it’s a long post)

School admissions

Hey ladies,

when applying for school for your child do you have to put a reason why you want your child going to that school? &does it make a difference if you don’t write anything?
