Help

Is anyone else starting having trouble with their 5 year olds?! My little girl used to be good as gold, and since she’s then 5 she’s become a devilπŸ˜‚πŸ˜ˆ

She’s shouting and screaming and not listening ( I know this usually standard) and she’s acting up a whole lot and I just don’t know how to deal with it😒😒😒

I don’t believe in shouting at her, I do tell her off but I just don’t know anymore.

What kind of maths is considered β€œnormal” it this age?

Hi everyone so my son is obviously 5 and he’s always loved numbers recently we’ve come to realise his maths is scarily good, he can do is 2,3,4,5,10 times tables. Adding up to 100 in all different combinations and taking away.

He’s my first so I have no idea if this is β€œnormal” if anyone here is a teacher what should he be doing in reception? And how’s best to support him I’m always asking him different adding and subtracting combinations through the day.

Baby sleep

Sleep issues!

Is anyone else having issues with their 4 year olds sleep? My daughter has woken in the night up to 5 times since the school holidays and I thought it would settle after starting school but it hasn’t as yet πŸ™ˆ I know it’s just a phase and all but just wondering how long it’s expected to last! She’s either scared of the dark or just wants to come in mummy and daddy’s bed. She has a huge imagination.

Waking in the night going downstairs to watch tv

Okay so my son has always been an early riser (was 5am for a long time) but up until recently he’s slept till 6.30, in the week I’m awake at this time as I’ve got to get him ready for school and sort his little brother so he takes himself downstairs and puts the TV on to watch whilst I’m sorting his brother upstairs. But since starting school I’ve caught him twice downstairs at 4am watching TV and he’s been down there for an hour (I’ve got a camera)

I don’t know what to do I’ve put a gro clock in his bedroom that goes yellow at 6.30 which worked for the first week but I have found he’s waking up earlier to watch it turn yellow, but I’ve just caught him downstairs again asked him why he didn’t stay in bed and he said it was taking to long to turn yellow πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I’m not sure what else to do now really hope this is just a phase because he’s going to be so tired at school tomorrow.
