February 2021 Babies 🇮🇪

Hi ladies, I’m really struggling to brush my 18 month olds teeth lately! She’s at that super independent stage where she wants to do everything herself 😤 I’ve tried using a mirror, brushing mine at the same time. No joy! PH nurse suggested just giving her the toothbrush, but she just sucks on it for about 5 seconds and flings it on the floor 🙈. Any tips or advice most welcome x

Help me I'm freaking out. At home we have a floor mattress for our 10 month old (Montessori esc) or we bedshare once we come to bed but we're away visiting family for Christmas and are staying in a rented apartment that have never had a baby before so they didn't have a cot or bed rails etc. We have been putting pillows along the perimeter of the bed as a "barrier" but she got over and off in her sleep. We have checked all limbs are moving okay , no signs of concussion but I'm so scared that something might be missed and my baby is hurt. .... How can we stop this in the future?

Is anyone experiencing problems at every turn with their baby’s birth certificate and passport? I requested a certificate way back in April (after not being told that the certificate is separate to the birth registration!) which was delayed because of Covid and then again because of the cyber attack. The certificate office is now fully out of action abs not taking any phone calls or responding to emails. I’ve had to re apply to GRO for the cert but they won’t respond to anything at all so far. Passport office equally as impossible to talk to, I can’t access my current application and I’m just at breaking point!! Has anyone been equally let down by all these people?

Hey ladies! For those of you on maternity, or already gone back to work... How long did you take for maternity leave?

My 6 month maternity ends in a months time, and I had originally planned to take some of the unpaid leave. But, I've been offered a good part-time job that will be great in the long run. I'm just really not ready to leave my little girl, she'll only be 5 months old when my maternity is over.

Hi looking for some advice. My little baby will be 3 months on Tues. He has bad reflux so was put on anti reflux milk. Things were going great but over the last week he is drinking 7oz bottles but is still hungry after. Could I start him on baby rice or should I wait until he is 4months. I feel like I am constantly givin him bottles
