Touchy Topics To Discuss With Your Child

Hey ladies! I just needed some tips on what I can ask my nephew about being touched by his father at home. I’ve been noticing for awhile already my nephew likes to completely strip his clothes off all the time which I figured that’s just how some kids are. But every once in awhile he will ask my son to play and they will hide under a pillow fort and my nephew will have his pants off and I’ll catch my mom getting close to touching my nephew. My son is only ever with me or my parents and we always keep a close eye on him but my nephew spends half his time with me and half his time with his father while my sister is at work. His father keeps him inside all day and he is an alcoholic but if my nephew sees my son and my other nephew and niece outside sometimes he will come out of his house without any clothes and rub his bum on the other kids. I just don’t know how to go about asking my nephew if something is going on at home. Do you guys have any pointers?

Hello Momma Bears, I made this blog so that we could share in our experiences with one another pertaining touchy topic we’ve had to confront with our children. I ask that we all share in our experiences and be opened to positive responses. So if your story is, my parents walked away from my biracial child or that you’ve had to explain uncomfortable topic with your children about your spouse/partner, etc please share.

Today my topic is, why is everything so divided. Even in hair care, anyone notice the “texture” aisle by the pads and tampons in Walgreens.... why is that? Those of us from the US witness these types of aisle often. When my child ask I had no response... What would you say?

What do you say when your child ask? Where do babies come from? Are you honest? Do you make something up or avoid the conversation?

So after I had my 3rd baby, when I sneeze I still have to cross my legs because I pee a little😣🤦🏽‍♀️ Do any other ladies experience this?! It’s embarrassing!! My husband will look at me after I say “damn it” he’ll look at me and say “you peed a little didn’t you” I scream after because it’s so embarrassing. This didn’t happen with my other two boys. Why is happening now??

If your child came to you and told you someone was hitting them. Would you tell them to hit them back? Or explain to them that this behavior is not okay?
