My almost 3.5 year old girl is still not potty trained. I always have to remind (or force) her to go to the potty. What helped you the most to potty train your toddler?

My 3 year old is potty trained and does great at home. But when we go out in public he does not want to go to the public restrooms at all and throws a tantrum. It’s hard for him to remove himself when he’s busy playing to go potty. How do I make going out in public restrooms easier??? Help!
