Would you recommend a backpack to carry a 19 month old for hiking? My baby girl is really good at walking but I’m debating if I need a backpack or get her used to walking trails herself.

I really want to get out and go hiking just need advice/tips to go about taking my daughter with me. I am going to find easy hikes nothing too extreme for her. She loves to explore and enjoys be able to walk (be independent). What are your thoughts? Would you recommend me getting a backpack? Opinions?
