Fertility rant

Hey ladies 👋🏼 bit of a rant..

Im completely neglected by my gp , I have complained and now getting bullied and having a fight for anything anytime i try to contact them... basically i would like to get support and testing with fertility sooner than later; the quality control ombudsman said it can take up to 6 months to investigate… I’m 40 in 6 months and cant afford to waste time to get support… who do we get referred to for fertilty? Can i contact them myself? Just at my wits end with fighting…

Aswell as my husband when he asked to get a fertility check at same gp… it took them 4wks telling him he has to have an appointment with gp… to say needs to be referred and that that appointment will take 4wks… i asked him to chase and they were so rude and derogatory on reception and said youve not even waited 4wks… and wouldnt even tell him who he gets referred to or contact details to chase himself 😔

Fertility treatments

Hi ladies

I have PCOS, anovulation and my left ovary is fine but the fallopian tube is knackered and it's the opposite way round on my right side as the ovary is knackered but it's fallopian tube is fine. I have been trying to get my fiancé to come with me to the doctors so that we can get help with becoming parents before I hit the menopause (I'm 41 and my fiancé is 40). I have told my fiancé that we will need help with becoming parents because of my medical conditions, but he doesn't think that we do. I have read on the NHS website that it's a good idea for couples who are trying for a baby to have a complete health check up first, but he keeps refusing. I was wondering if any of u lovely ladies have had a similar problem with your oh

progesterone

I've read on Tommy's miscarriage support that taking progesterone can help reduce your risk of miscarriage in early pregnancy. I can't see where to get it though. Has anyone tried it? Did you have to get it prescribed or can you buy it?
