Black hair braiding for kids

Does anyone know of somewhere affordable that I can take my daughter to get her hair braided? I’m really not very good at doing braids and with her hair getting longer it’s getting harder to do her hair twice a day. I need it to be affordable so that every week or every other week I can afford to take her back there to get fresh ones done. Please only local suggestions, anywhere in the Hammersmith&Fulham or Shepherd’s Bush area

Early pregnancy symptoms

Where can I get a second opinion?

Hiya, I had sudden pelvic girdle pain in week 24 and now this week, week 25 it's turned into groin pain on one side and a stiff swollen cold leg. I went to maternity triage at Chelsea and Westminster where I am booked and they gave me codeine and a blood thinner injection and told me to come back the next day for a Doppler leg scan and further injections. Went the next day , had the scan of the whole leg, they didn't find clots so they sent me home with no further injection.

I still have a swollen leg, painful groin and they have not resolved my issue. They didn't know what it was but because it wasn't DVT they sent me home.

My doula suggests I get a second opinion. Have any of you ever needed a second option and where did you go? Should I try another hospital?

This is not normal and I am walking like a pirate with a wooden leg because it's so stiff.

🗓️ Mother: Nurtured at the Lighthouse Club, Fulham (please search this with eventbrite to secure tickets 💘💘💘)

Join us for a day of self-care, support, and guidance as we explore how to nurture yourself during the postpartum period. Mute your notifications & step into a room that's focused on YOU.

Join two experts dedicated to helping you find tangible wellbeing strategies in motherhood.

To begin, self development coach (and founder of mother.fm) Georgia will lead a grounding session where you complete some private self-reflection exercises and discover practical ways to protect (and restore) your energy and peace postpartum. The restorative session will empower you to trust your instincts, assert boundaries and discover the ways you want to be best supported. Next, pre & post natal fitness expert and Ladies Who Crunch app founder Nancy Best will give you clarity on how to support your body, so you can move with confidence. Let go of toxic myths about "bouncing back" and learn which science-backed exercises can transform your physical and mental resilience. The day will conclude with a guided release exercise exclusively from the mother.fm platform. This is an audio affirmation and meditation platform design for the first year of motherhood and beyond.

Whether you're pregnant, navigating the first year of motherhood or raising lots of little people, this workshop is designed to put your self-care back on the agenda. Agenda:

10am - arrival and mingling, grab your coffee & pastry 10.30am - Georgia's grounding session 11.10am - quick break 11.20am - Nancy's presentation & Q&A 11.50am - mother.fm guided release exercise 12pm - close & goody bags

Doula

Can anyone recommend a doula in London? Ideally someone with a medical background.

Would love to have one to prepare me and support me during labour.
