Moms, I could really use some advice on handling tantrums. 😭 My daughter gets REALLY upset when I tell her no or don’t let her do something she wants. She’ll get angry, cry, and become very agitated. I try to stay calm and explain things to her, but sometimes it’s hard to know what the best response is in the moment.

What do you guys do when your little ones have big tantrums? What actually helped you get through this stage without making the situation worse? ❤️

Ughh a neighbor just popped his head over our fence cuz my daughter was screaming. He thought she was hurt. I told him, shes 4. Shes having a tantrum. Do you even have kids? He said yea i have an 8 yr old. And i said and she never screamed?? He said not like that. Hes like oh I meant no disrespect but ur sticking ur fucking head over my property thinking im beating my kid.

She spilled water on her shirt. Chill!!!

I’m having a really hard time with my 4yo. I thought maybe it was a phase and that she will just get over it but at this point idk. The girl yells and screams everyday it’s not all day but just when she’s angry or upset. The tantrums when you tell her no or she isn’t able to do something. She doesn’t know what inside voice is she is always loud. She bosses her friends around and doesn’t play nice. She is the youngest in the house and I’m thinking she is just spoiled but it’s getting to the point where everyone is at their wits end with her behavior. Her grandpa won’t even come get her anymore because of how she behaves with him out in public. I’ve done the gentle parenting, the timeouts, punishments, rewards I’ve done everything and nothing is working. I need help to fix this behavior asap.

Has anyone found any good and educational apps your kiddos love? We will be on a 16 hour flight next month. We don’t usually do screens at home I would rather my daughter play a game and interact with it than just watch a show mindlessly. Thanks in advance.

My step daughter is 4 years old she had mentioned on two different occasions about something or someone dieing. The first she said something to her mom on the way home about a bird dying and it being funny. We realized it was from the pudgy episode of bluey. And then yesterday while with us she said something about having a nightmare about her mom dieing in a volcano and was upset. We don't talk about death around her and her mom says they don't and they feel it's inappropriate at this age. But when both sides let her watch disney movies where a parent dies or grandparents. I think she is going to put two an two together. Her mom doesn't want to have a conversation with our daughter since she is to young. But me and my husband think we should since she is getting scared and obviously understand and her cousin her age have had that conversation because of pets passing and they are fine.
