Has anyone had a planned c section recently at WHH. I’m being told I may need to have a c section at 39 weeks (not what I want so I’m pushing back a bit but they will review at 36weeks) I had an emergency one there 4 years ago (Covid times) so I’m hoping my experience this time will be different if it has to happen that way.

I’d be interested on anyone’s views on the hospital and the process in general, good and bad and if anyone has any insights on emergency c section vs planned.

Also, were your partners able to stay overnight while you remained in hospital. One of my biggest issues from before was being sliced open, catheter in, not able to move much and being left to look after a new born alone as the staff weren’t much help and husband got sent home.

Hello ☺️💙 So I am just starting to pack my hospital bag etc and mainly just wanted to know how hot the ward is etc and is there anything anyone recommends bringing - will hopefully be the WHH I am giving birth in - Thanks!x

I use to run a local Kent / Ashford mammas WhatsApp group it fizzled out but I was thinking of setting a new one up.

2026 I really wanna build a mamma's community we live on a farm which would be fun to also host some get together in the summer and generally creat a support network.

Anyone up for it?
