TTC in your 30s, UK 🇬🇧

Hey. We're hoping to try for baby no.2. I had my mirena out 3 weeks ago (first time having a coil. Fitted 7 weeks after birth) and wondering how long it took anyone to get their first period after it was removed?

So I had my last period 27th August that lasted a week (it came on the exact date it was due) I did a pregnancy test the day before my period which came back negative (one of the 6 days early test) period Ended 3rd August. Had a smear test 4th August. Had spotting on12th August did another pregnancy test which came back positive (saying 2-3weeks) last intercourse was 17th July. I can’t wrap my head around how it is possible I am pregnant…I’m assuming what I thought was my period was infact a miscarriage…however would I still be testing positive this long after a possible miscarriage? My Dr seems to think I got pregnant along the time of my period, even though intercourse was 10 days prior. I’ve been told all I can do is wait a week and do another test which is just torture waiting a week to find out which way this is going 😫 anyone had any similar experience?

I’m only 11 days post ovulation (if I’ve worked it out right as I’m new to lh tests) I’ve had headaches and mild cramping , a Metallicy taste for a few days now and I’ve had some pale pink blood this morning . The first picture is yesterday morning and the second is this morning

Anyone else been trying for too long?

Still very early, but seeing some good lines. Have a headache and feeling a bit sicky a lot.
