Constipation/reflux

I really need some help, I just don’t know what to do with my little girl. She is on Kendamil milk(pink one) from birth and she has silent reflux, whenever she was first born she would drink her milk so quickly, not sure if it’s because of this milk or not. The doctor started her on Gaviscon at the start of her reflux to help and then we were changed to carobel, the carobel seems to make her very constipated. With the constipation the doctor prescribed us with lactulose, although she hasn’t went for a poo from Sunday early morning. We have tried lactulose, cool boiled sugar water, water with every bottle , a bottle with carobel and then one without and she just doesn’t seem to be going.

My aim of this post is because I’ve been researching the difference in Kendamil cows milk and goats milk, with the goats milk online has been saying that it helps with reflux babies and can help with constipation. I don’t know whether to change to the goats milk or not.

Has anyone had this issue and have tried the cows milk?

Queer Parents Group

I've noticed that from what I can see (please feel free to correct me) there is a lack of groups on social media for queer parents in NI. Would this be something people would be interested in if I were to create one? Would rather get an idea before putting myself out there! Would be to share experiences and advice specific to queer families.

Family

A dilemma

For background to this I have an almost 2 year old boy. He is my absolute world but by no means do I spoil him. I set clear rules, I tell him no and I tell him off when he does wrong. However, he has recently become very, very attached to me and I mean lack of personal space attached. He goes to a childminder 3 days a week who he adores and walks in and never looks back at me. But today when I had to take a phonecall and wasn’t giving him attention he had a meltdown. His daddy took him outside and he just continued to meltdown. I am pregnant and due with our second in May. I held my friend’s baby the other day and he absolutely lost it. All of this has me extremely worried of what things will be come May. Any advice?
