Baby milestones

How β€œwell” are you little ones talking now as they hit 3 years old?

Can they express all their needs? Answer questions well? Most people understand what they’re saying? Do they still babble a bit? What things do they still get wrong? Just need some insight as I’m an overthinker.

Baby sleep

Anyone’s toddler randomly started waking up for the day before 6am?

She’s never done this before but the last week she’s started the day between 5-5:45. She’s never gotten up this early and we’ve not changed her routine, she’s still going to bed at the same time. Any advice how to get her back to normal pattern? we have a newborn so this early wake up isn’t helping the sleep deprivation

Sharing rooms

Do any of your children share rooms? Please tell me your experiences!

We are thinking about trying for a sibling for our son but it would mean the kids would possibly share? We have room for more but it would mean losing the playroom/office and we really need and use that space alot.

I'm always of the opinion that a child needs their own space but my husband says they can share a room. Xox

LG waking for 6 hours at night

Hey! I was just wondering whether anyone else is having the same problem. My LG turns 3 on Saturday and has a 11 week old sister. Over the last few nights she has been waking at 12:30 and not going back to sleep until 6:30/7am but then sleeping for 4/5 hours. She goes to bed around 7:30pm. She hasn’t had this problem in a really long time and has been a great sleeper since around 5 months old (minus the odd regression). Was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how to get her back into sleeping at night rather than the morning. Thanks ☺️

Advice please

So I work full time (8-6pm 4 days and non working day wednesday) and currently my daughter does 2x days preschool (school setting), day with me Wednesday, private nursery Thursday (helps during school holidays) and my partner friday (he works shifts so will get time in week for his stuff normally). I put her name down for an extra in preschool Wednesday morning this September to give her more time in school before being fulltime sept 2027 however ive been told they are not doing half days only full days. Would you give up your day or would you still keep them off until theyre full time? Part of me would like bit more time to get stuff done (life admin) but same time I feel it is our day together. I'm so torn.
