Parental Preference at Bedtime

Our 2.5 year old loses her mind if dad does bedtime while mom is still at home. If mom leave the house before bedtime, bedtime is a breezy for dad. I am currently 28 weeks with our second and stressed about how bedtime might look after bringing home our second.

Just looking for similar experiences, tips, support :)

Toddlers sleeping independently?

Is anyone’s toddler actually sleeping independently in their own room? My daughter is 2.5, was sleeping perfectly through the night since 1 year old in her own room and is not waking up multiple times a night crying for mama and it’s been brutal! Any tips or validation is much appreciated

First Haircut

Ok so this is probably so silly but I'm curious if anyone else has felt this way. My LO is getting his first hair cut next week (the day he turns 2.5 😭), and I get so emotional over it! He has such beautiful hair with lovely curls! But since having to wear a winter hat now his beautiful curls are getting tangled/matted each day. I do condition his hair but it's just getting too much. A bonus pic of my beautiful boys curls from summer.

Terrible Two’s ? SOS!

Ok mama’s help … My sweet baby is all of a sudden just screaming, crying or throwing tantrums all day long. She is 2y 5m - I of course knew to expect some of the “terrible two’s” but it seems that every single day is such a challenge right now. She goes to school during the days, and has been attending since September, and is thriving so I can’t blame it on the adjustment. Perhaps she is just tired and over stimulated after school? Even eating, dressing and playing is now a hurdle to get through 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Is anyone in the same boat? If so, I’d so appreciate some tips to keep my sanity. Or just some solidarity Because a grumpy toddler is HARD to handle.

Feeling guilty

My toddler has become more defiant and whiny over the past months, which really gets at me. I work 3 days a week and the other 4 i am home with him which i love, while my husband is working and away from home from 530am-8pm, so he is not present/helping on days he is working. I am also 5 months pregnant after 2 miscarriages last year and feel i cant even take a moment to rest or be excited. I get frustrated with my toddker alot in the day, and he has also dropped his nap and were in the midst of potty training. But half an hour after he goes to bed i stare at the monitor and cry cz i feel so horrible and guilty for getting upset. Just needing a space to vent.
