September 2024 Babies 🇬🇧

My son turns 2 in 2 days, for 2 weeks straight now, every single day he will not stop having tantrums over the tiniest things, literally screaming at the top of his lungs, or bitting, kicking, slapping me. He has broken 2 things just this week, a vase and a candle, just throwing everything at the minute. When I tell him off he just laughs at me, and won’t listen. But anyone else he listens too. I’m a single mum and it’s definitely taking a toll on me, my family just say to discipline him, like sit him in a corner for time out but I’ve tried he doesn’t understand. The last couple of days has been non stop screaming, I wish I could sit in a quiet room by myself but that’s impossible. People say because it’s his safe space which I understand but I don’t get why he doesn’t listen to me. Anyone else having this, and how to help too, I really need it x

Any of you have tall toddlers and car seat recommendations? My just turned two year old is already 95 cm and the two car seats we have go up to 105cm which is meant to be 4 year old but I’m anticipating he’ll gain those 10cm long before he’s 4 😂

Hi everyone. My little boys is now 2. He has a slight tongue tie which wasn’t revised as an infant as it was discovered too late. He only has about 5 clear words and about 10 sounds that he uses instead of a word but we know exactly what he’s saying. Anyone else’s little ones not talking yet. I’m starting to get really worried about his speech but we have been unable to get in touch with this HV

Daughter is just 2 and thinking we will potty train soon. Feel super overwhelmed with all the choices and stuff available as always. Can anyone tell me super simply what worked for them/ what we need? Special potty training pants? Just one carry potty so they are familiar or one to keep and home and one to travel with? Any tips welcome! ❤️

I’m in desperate need of some advice! My little girl turns two next weekend, and the past 5 nights she’s been waking up inconsolably during the night. This will be exactly 4 hours after she goes to sleep. It can take anywhere between 1-4 hours to get her back to sleep. As soon as I leave the room she wakes up, and the whole settling her to sleep starts again. We are both absolutely exhausted. Any advice would be very much appreciated or if your little one has gone through this how long did it last?
