Baby & toddler food

Frustration over food

I am honestly at wits end with my little boy and his food. He used to have such a wide diet and now it’s so limited. It’s literally potatoes, potato waffles, potato smileys, chips, chicken dippers, plain pasta, ham, bread, cheesestrings, yogurts, bananas and chocolate. This is all he will eat. He used to eat carrots, broccoli, cottage pie, fish fingers, mince-now it’s like he’s on food strike. I batch cooked mince and he wouldn’t even touch it. Fruits and veg are a no go. Won’t even try it. But yet at the childminders he eats absolutely everything going including all fruits and veg. His diet is just a disaster and I can’t even hide fruits and veg because he doesn’t eat any sauces.

Baby sleep

Losing the will.

I’m losing the will to live. Toddler used to go nap at 2-3:30 and went to bed at 8/8:30 all fine. After potty training, she would refuse to go sleep by that time so I have started putting her to nap at 1-2:30 and it’s still a struggle for her to fall asleep at bedtime what am I doing wrong. I have tried to get to have a nap earlier but she won’t. Also I’m 13 weeks pregnant and she still feeds to sleep that’s all she has known. Could it be that my milk is not enough anymore and she’s struggling to sleep because she doesn’t know another way of falling asleep

Dropping the nap

Evening

For those that have dropped the nap - was there a progression towards this? Mines gone from having 90 mins/2 hours to no nap over the last 5 days. She asks to go up, then bounces in her cot. 5 days 😳 She’s been ok tho throughout the day 4/5 days. I was expecting it to be a slow decline and not just an all out stop/drop of the napπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Potty training

Not interested in potty or toilet

My little lady is uninterested in both the potty and the toilet, we've tried sitting her on both but she stiffens her legs, refuses and cries, mentioned this to the health visitor at her review but she just said to just sit her on it 1st thing in the morning then however many minutes after a drink... which wasn't helpful Has anyone experienced this have any advice on what to do from here? This baby is not my 1st but the last time I did any potty training was 10 years ago and I can remember diddly squat about any of it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Please and thankyou! πŸ’—
