Mine was a $60 from pandora that we picked out together and my only regret is not being able to adjust the band size due to the metal quality. I still wear it as a neclace often. ❤️

A gift for my son 4 years in the making, 14 years to go

I started this avocado tree from a seed the week my oldest was due with the idea of gifting it to him as a birthday gift for his 18th birthday. So when he’s old enough to move out he has a mature tree that hopefully can fruit.

I’ve had it in a bottle with water and fish tank water as fertilizer from the beginning and it’s still growing new length, branches, and leaves every year.

I cannot wait to give it to him when he’s older but I’m so attached to it I’ll be sad to see it go 😂

Diamonds

So I saw a post on another platform where someone was wondering why anyone would buy natural diamonds anymore since they have lab dimonds now and I commented

"I told my husband I want dinosaur poop diamonds not dog poop dimonds. lab dimonds could be made from anything natural dimonds are made from life on our planet billions of years ago and that to me makes them beautiful.
but there are businesses where you can send ashes of your loved ones and they will make you dimonds out of there ashes so I will be doing that with my 1st dog when he passes. my husband and I have also already decided that when we die he is going to be turned into dimonds and made into bracelets and im going to be turned into necklaces for our children. so they can always hold us close to them rather than just sitting in a jar or in the ground. might as well speed up the process. 😋
In my opinion the dimonds that you are able to choose what they are made out of are more special and valuable rather than dimonds that are most likely made of trash or rotting food."

I left my son to watch tv alone in my room while I switched the laundry over and not 2 minutes went by before I got a notification thanking me for a 1 year peacock subscription of $116.

Luckily Roku refunded me and I’ve since added a pin but now I know it really is that easy for kids to make quick and expensive purchase without us knowing.

Turns out Monday morning at my Kroger and the lady slipped it in without saying anything. This has happened to my mom before and we were both obviously happy with a random discount but one of my sisters in law said she’d die if that happened to her because she’d be so embarrassed 😂

1 year anniversary gift ideas

Hi all! So me and my partner's 1 year is coming up in early May and I do like to plan ahead so I'm already thinking about it. But I am stumped on what to do or get him. Especially because we just had Christmas and Valentines day so I've already done a lot of gifts lol. But also, we're going to be at the beach with my family on the day of. I already bought our plane tickets just today and he's going to help out and send me some money for the tickets, but then I was like or should I just cover his ticket and call that an anniversary present? Or is that dumb? Or should I pay for all of his drinks and food and stuff on the trip as a present? Or is that dumb? Or should I just get him an actual physical gift to present on the day of?? I need advice! I don't want to take him out to dinner cause that's his job lol.

I need some kind of toy storage that isn’t just a box that all of my little boys toys get thrown into if that makes sense, i kind of want one of those units with draws that looks nice and i can keep his toys separate to each draw, i dont wanna pay an arm and a leg for them though, has anyone else got these or if you have one where did you get yours from?

Mother’s Day

My husband has booked for us to go away for a night for Mother’s Day. My baby is 3 months, and we haven’t stayed away from home yet. He’s sprung it on me as a surprise and we leave tomorrow. The added pressure of there being a pool and him wanting to take our LO into it. I now have to frantically pack, go to shops to get bits (which aren’t going to be cheap) and hope for best. Not to sound ungrateful but how is that a present? He hasn’t even booked a place that has spa treatments.
