Birthday presents

My friends little girl is turning 1 tomorrow and I still need to buy her a gift before the party on Saturday. Im lost on what to get her because it feels like she’s already got so much stuff.
Does anyone have any suggestions on things that aren’t necessarily toys? I was considering books but I think she’s got billions of them already too!
She likes to suck on a blanket rather than a dummy or anything so I tried to find one of those teddy comforters that she likes to use but giant size, like a regular blanket but with the bear head part. I thought that would have been an unbelievable present 😂
Alas… they don’t exist 😩😂

Birthday Presents…

I know our little ones’ birthdays aren’t yet, but I only have one payday left until then, so I’m trying to get organised! 😅

I’m really struggling to find anything appropriate for her. She’s past the stage of the baby toys now, but there doesn’t seem to be much for this age that’s either fun or educational. Everything seems to be aimed at 3+!

I’ve picked up a few little bits, but nothing really feels worth it. It almost feels like I’m just buying things for the sake of having something to give her. Her main presents are going to be a balance bike and a Baby Annabell, but even the Baby Annabell is 3+, so I don’t know how much use she’ll actually get out of it yet.

Please help! 😂 Send me your suggestions for things that are actually good for this age — toys, educational bits, anything really! I’m struggling! xx

Birthday and christmas presents.

Tiny bit early but whats everyone buying their little ones for their first birthday and/or christmas? Mainly those who have multiple kids close in age. I currently have a 3 year old and a 2 year old as well. My 3 year old will be 4 5 weeks after her first birthday. Then christmas is 13 days after his birthday. So im stuck on what to get her for them as it seems like most 1 year old toys we already own and she has access to already that I'm really struggling for ideas for her

For context it's my MIL, and she is quite well off, can buy whatever she needs as she needs it. It's so hard to buy anything for her!

Random one I know but just a general question! Does someone selling on Vinted having only an option of inpost for postage put you off of buying? And if you’re using lots of lockers or sending off a few parcels in a shop, do you let others go infront of you or just think it’s my time I want to be served?

Hi! Is it too selfish to want to gift yourself a little something when your little one turns 1? I’m a single mom and while I love and adore my baby, I separated from his dad a little after he was born because of my mother in law, and this year has been really difficult for me. I’m giving my baby several gifts and he’s also getting presents from my family and his dad. I just doubting if I should get myself something because in the end I feel like I deserve something too after everything I went through this year! 😅😅

Hi ladies just a quick question my cousin who is close to my younger sister recently inherited alot of money, and while I'm not jealous of her on my sisters birthday I requested that we put together and give my sister money to buy clothes because she hasn't got much money as a single parent and sacrifices her needs to cater for her two boys.

Is that too much to ask my cousin to do? She literally inherited thousands and I personally don't want anything from her I just cannot understand how as a cousin she can watch my younger sister who turns up to all family events with leggings, second hand trainers and shirts. She is struggling.

Im I expecting too much from my cousin? My sister is a really good cousin to her and this was just a one off for my sisters birthday not a constant expectation.

Fair or am I being silly

We've just sent out the invites for my son's 4th birthday in September. It'll just be family and close friends.
My husband's sister has offered to give him his cousin's pedal bike with stabilisers, as it's in great condition.
I'm genuinely not ungrateful, but my son currently has a balance bike and we've always said we'd wait until he'd mastered that before buying him a brand-new red pedal bike of his own (without stabilisers). It's something we've been looking forward to getting him ourselves.
My husband is now saying he'll tell his side of the family not to buy our son anything for his birthday.
Am I being unreasonable for wanting to buy this particular present ourselves, or is my husband overreacting
