Might be TMI but is it normal to get so many yeast infections and UTI’s? It’s driving me crazy

So where do I start? Lets see. They're insisting I get a blood test that I need prior authorization from my insurance...okay fair and fine -- I go to the lab to get it done and guess what?! My doc didn't even put in the order yet, after asking me about 12 times if I would go to the lab on 6/19. And I have to drive almost an hour 1 way to get to them. Getting quality medical care in rural America is important, but impossible. UGHHHHHH.

HSV 1

My friend had something weird going on down there that they've now determined is due to an ingrown hair, but she got tested for all sti's and it turns out she has HSV 1. She's pretty sure her ex, who gets cold sores gave it to her but who knows how long she's had it as she's asymptomatic.

Birth control

So I want to get on depo again so I can prevent getting pregnant anytime soon I know not having sex would be the better option but I just can’t sometimes it helps with stress and I may have a slight problem (my sex drive is high) but is birth control safe while breastfeeding? do I really need birth control or should I just control myself better? I just really don’t want to be on my 3rd child I’ve been pregnant since 2024 I think I need a break and 2 under 2 isn’t easy either advice is very much appreciated

Depo shot

Hey guys! I just wanted to make a quick post because I’m super curious if anyone has experienced or is experiencing the same thing as me right now. So I only got one shot of depo never went back to get my second one because I hated it. Only thing I liked was I didn’t have my period. Ok so my breast was hurting while on it but now that I’m off of it my breast and nipples hurt so freaking bad.

Birth control - PPD

If you experienced PPD what birth control are you on? I’m really scared to get pregnant (4mo PP and started my period) but equally scared to get a more severe form of PPD because of birth control. I was on the pill before for maybe 1 year and had to stop because I literally felt depressed crying all day.
Have you used a successful contraceptive and not felt your mood worsened on it?
Also, probably impossible, but my libido is pretty low overall so scared of getting to a place where I would not want to have sex never again

Nexplanon

Hi guys has anyone ever gotten pregnant on Nexplanon like a year or two into having it me and my partner use protection as well as me being on it but my period is three days late and I know the implant can affect your period but oh my gosh, I’ve been feeling so nauseous and dizzy and kind of scared that my Nexplanon has failed so just wondering if anybody has ever gotten pregnant on it

Sex drive

I don’t know how my sex drive went through the roof but I want it 3times a day these days. I don’t know what’s happening with my body. I want it morning, afternoon and in the middle of the night😩. We did it very early this morning and I’m already asking for it again . My husband is off work and I’m a sahm so plenty time to ride but I wasn’t like this before. Anyone in this situation?

I’m thinking on it as I don’t want anything hormonal . I know it makes your period worse but anyway I want to hear stories as I’m not ready for another baby in the nearest time ,ps pls do not share horrible stories 😹🫂

Husband refusing condoms

I came off birth control a few weeks back as I want to give my body a rest (bad side effects)
We have been using pull-out method but im just worried everytime incase he doesnt pull out quick enough.
He wont wear a condom and just laughed when I suggested it.
We do want to try for another baby in a few months just not right now!!

Bleeding on the mini pill

Hello,

I’ve been on the mini pill (Lovima) for 3 months, never missed always taken on time however now I’m bleeding and I’ve been bleeding for 4 weeks straight.

It’s driving me insane and I want it to stop. I contacted GP they’re not interested.

Any advice? Do I argue my case? Or what should I do? I’m overweight trying to lose weight, I don’t know if that affects anything?

Lexapro

Anyone taking Lexapro (escitalopram)? Last night I took my first dose 10mg and my heart rate went passed 130. It was only for a little and stopped when I splashed my face with cold water but Im terrified of taking it again. I have always had severe anxiety and thought about meds but my PPD and anxiety has been so intense I knew I needed to try something for the sake of my marriage and daughter. I’m scared to continue it and want to try supplements like magnesium and ashwagandha. I know it takes awhile to settle in but I really don’t want to experience that again I almost called the ambulance. Not sure if it’s a placebo effect but I do feel amazing today besides that.
