Its sleeping on left not right side....
Best is on your left.. I change btw left & right but never on my back.. I also use knee pillow, it’s more comfortable..
I've looked online and talked to my midwives and back sleeping essentially puts your baby's entire weight right on your back, intestines and vena cava vein (the main vein that carries blood back to your heart from your lower body). They say sleeping on your LEFT side is best for optimal blood flow and nutrients to baby. My midwives said you don't have to sleep entirely on your side. If you have a pillow propped up behind so it puts you at an angle that it's fine which they told me at around 28-29 weeks (I'm now 30 weeks).
This pillow really helped me sleep better!
I felt like this for the last few weeks of my pregnancy but I always said to myself which is ever the most comfortable. Try and not think too much into it. Allow yourself to be comfortable and get all the sleep you can in your last trimester. Best of luck x
