If I’m honest I don’t think anyone is going on holiday this year.

Don't cancel yourself as you would probably have to pay cancelation fee. Wait until they cancel (which they most likely will) and then you can arrange for next year or then get your money back. Even if they opened up travelling again, I personally wouldn't go being 30 weeks pregnant x

Go with your gut! I hate to say it but mine would be telling me not to go... v disappointing to hear I know as that sounds absolutely wonderful🙁 xoxo

You won't be able to go if they implement the 2 week quarantine for travel abroad... definitely let them cancel it though, as other people mentioned, you won't get money back if you initiate cancellation (assuming you booked it before Covid-19 was a thing).

There are rules about flying in 3rd trimester I think

I personally wouldn’t go due to 3rd trimester flying and it’s a long way to travel anyway (I’ve been before) plus everyone In my family arrived early! My siblings and I were all born by 34 weeks! It’s crazy! But go with your gut, it’s how you feel and it’s your holiday :) x

I personally wouldnt just because I've been to the Maldives on my honeymoon and my husband became really unwell. We had to pay £600 to have a dr come to our villa and they couldnt give us much in the way of help. So we ended up getting treated when we flew from the Maldives to Sri Lanka. It was an hours boat to the main island and then a 4 hour flight to SL. It was really stressful seeing him so ill whilst having to travel so I wouldn't want to do that heavily pregnant. If there was a problem I would rather be close to home where I know the baby and i could be seen to immediately. Hope that helps abit

Most airlines won’t let you fly third trimester because it can trigger labor. I see that as the larger issue.

Just be aware of the Zikka virus also when travelling to the Maldives as I believe they have a moderate risk of it there. X
