Questioning if I even want this anymore

TTC for 3 years, been 'top of the list for IVF' with the NHS since May. I keep getting mentally ready then nothing comes from the appointments. I feel deflated, questioning if I even want to go through with this anymore. All I ever wanted since I was a toddler was to be a mum, now I'm thinking maybe it was just never meant to be. I just want to be me again, and to be the couple we used to be.
Has anyone else ever felt this way?

Too overweight for fertility clinic referral?

I have recently seen GP who did a referral to fertility clinic, we have been trying about 15 months. I have PCOS and am in Metformin. I have a BMI of 32 (point something). I looked up the details for the local fertility clinic and the GP didn't give much information so I planned to call. I saw on the info they may reject your referral if BMI is over 30. I am now worried, I find it so hard to lose weight cos if PCOS. Anyone have any experience of this?

IVF

This isn't really me asking anyone. I just don't have anyone to talk to about this stuff. My first IVF cycle failed, I got 5 follicles, 3 eggs and 3 fertilised but only one made it.

For my second cycle, I had egg collection yesterday. They got 7 follicles, 5 eggs and 4 fertilised.

I think the implantation failed last time due to me having stage 4 Endometriosis but I'm just really happy I've managed to get to this part again. This is my last funded NHS cycle as I cannot afford it so I'm really hoping this works.

I'm 31 with low AMH.

2 eggs collected

I'm in search of some success stories after only 2 eggs collected. I'm 41 with low amh and this is my 5th round of IVF. I don't know how many are mature yet, only had the collection today. But anyone out there that can give me some hope... please, I really need it xx

3rd embryo transfer.

I’m about to go through my 3rd embryo transfer next month. I have had 2 successful transfers and I have a beautiful 3 year old boy and a 2 year old little girl.

My question is, has anyone been lucky enough to have a 3 in row success?

I’m content with my 2 but the thought of having a 3rd has never gone away and I’m not getting any younger.

advice

i’m wanting to start IVF with my fiancé. i’ve had a baby with a previous relationship. we have found out that my fiancé has a low sperm count. can anyone let me know there experiences with IVF who have been in a similar situation? 🩷💙

10 and 11 DPO

Line progression from 10-11 DPO I tested out the HCG with easy @home and got a negative and the next day got a vvvvvfl... now I'm still hesitant cause of the IUI / Trigger shot on the 5th and IUI on the 7th... 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞✨️✨️✨️

Cancelled FETs

Hi everyone it’s my first time going through IVF. And we’ve had 2 cancelled FET cycles in a row because I keep ovulating early. Feeling really disheartened and like we’ll never make it to a transfer. Has anyone else been in this position?

Ransom question/ thought

So i was reading something about the kardashians. And made me think. What if while married the couple does ivf and freeze the embryos and then they divorce. What happens to them? I mean technically they can't get destroyed right?with the laws etc right now? And besides that. What if the wife decides that they want to have a 3rd baby using the embryo they had left with the husband. Does the ex husband have a say in getting to use it? And if the baby is born does he now have to pay child support as well? How would you feel if it waa the ex trying to use it too

Infertility Recommendations

I'm in the medical field so I'm aware of the possible bills following this journey i may be able to take, anybody know how or where I can go specifically that accepts horizon NJ STATE insurance, I don't need IVF or anything as far as that but I would like to check why my periods are irregular and if I'm ovulating, year three and it's not sticking.
My primary and obgyn said they can't help outside of the one time bloodwork they did.

Frozen embryo transfer in February

Is anyone planning to do a frozen embryo transfer in February.
We’ve just got our consultant appointment through for November then hopefully we’ll be starting treatment on my January cycle.

I’m due to give birth soon and I’m considering getting an IUD fitted at the time or soon after. Can you please share your experiences of either copper or hormonal IUDs? I’m leaning more towards copper. I’ve never used any form of contraception before (apart from condoms) so I’m quite anxious about potential side effects

PCOS and IVF

Anyone around 32 years old with PCOS and do IVF? Just decided to proceed with doing IVF and my doctor recommends a frozen transfer since I have PCOS and at an increased risk for OHSS. Anyone have any advice or success stories for me?!

Protocols for women going through IVF in there 40’s with underactive thyroid - what worked for you

I’ve recently had a 4th failed transfer from 3 egg collections. Each collection the same protocol
375 - 450 Merifort and Ganirelix
Progesterone support Cyclogest twice a day.
I’m just curious what other protocols are out there with success. I’ve only managed to get one egg frozen from my 2nd egg collection. As this is now our 3rd collection but 4th failed transfer we only have one more shot at egg retrieval from our self funded package and what I want to know is, what other options are out there. I fear going again with the same protocol may not be the answer.
