Leftover embryos...

In 2022, we were fortunate enough to get six day 5 embryos.
We have used 3 (1 fresh, 2 frozen) and although they sadly ended in early miscarriage, we have gone on to have a baby girl naturally (after having a hysteroscopy done).
I would love another baby at some point but we found the whole IVF experience quite upsetting, especially my husband.
We have 3 embryos left in storage which we don't think we will use but I am finding the thought of them being taken out of storage really hard. I can't seem to let go of them and I'm going to pay the £800 to keep them in storage for a little longer.
Has anyone experienced this decision making before? How did you find letting your little embryos go? I burst into tears every time I think about them going. They are like my safety net for having another baby.

To everyone going through IVF, you are all true warriors and I pray everyone gets their baby. 🩷💙

IVF referral - waiting time

Hope somebody can help me.
I had all basic test done with GP and finally got the referral with 1 listed hospital near me.

When I wanted to book the appointment the website said no availability and there are 3 options.
- check again later
- choose other clinic (was only listed 1, so no option to change)
- request contact

I did request but the message said if they dont contact until aug 10 call them.

Is this normal to wait this long for only 1 appointment in the IVF process?
My age is an issue, so I cannot wait that long, also it said the average time is 19weeks...

What other options do i have?
Please help.

Low progesterone

Does anyone have a natural ways they got their corpus luteum to produce more progesterone without needing supplements? I had two babies back to back and recently miscarried a third not surprisingly. Since my cycle came back after my second, my luteal phases have been 9-10 days, usually getting my period on 10dpo. This cycle I made it to 12dpo the first time in the 14 months since I had my son but got my progesterone tested at 10dpo and it was 2 💔 so even if I implanted between 9-12 dpo there would be no chance of sustaining a pregnancy. OB won’t supplement because we aren’t “trying.” We’re very much “whatever happens, happens,” but I clearly can’t sustain a pregnancy without help or even implant. I’ve never had this issue before, but having 2 15 months apart clearly messed me up. Are there any ways to extent my luteal phase by getting my ovaries to produce more progesterone without needing supplements? Can I buy supplements over the counter? Because they won’t give them to me.

Fertility Assistance!

Finally going to start Femara/letrozole early into my next cycle!! The doctor will do a mid cycle ultrasound and measure my follicle. If the correct size, I'll get a trigger shot to ovulate and then start on progesterone cream. If I fall pregnant, I'll be on the cream until 12 weeks along.

Im so excited, does anyone have experience with this?

IVF Egg collection

We went for our second IVF Cycle last week.

Our first was in 2023 (9eggs retrieved - 4 successful embryos frozen - 1 successful transfer resulting in birth of son 2024

In December 25 we transferred again and lost an embryo as it didn't thaw/rehydrate and the transferred embryo was unsuccessful.

In February we transferred our last embryo and was unsuccessful

In April I went to hospital for burst ovarian cycsts

2/6 had egg collection again after the specialist scan said 6 good size follicles were present

Wake up from procedure to be told 0000 eggs collected

DEVISTATED

Not even 1 egg

And specialist has no explanation, no answers no suggestions nothing

PCOS/PMOS & pregnancy….

I have a 13 month old and I’ve just been told by my doctor I have PCOS/PMOS. The doctor advised if I want more children I should think about having them soon as my “levels” are high. The doctor said the older I get (I am 25) the harder it will be to convince, possibly leading to needing IVF. My partner and I want 2 children, and we would rather them close in age than having a big age gap (if we had to go down the IVF route or tried for years), it will take us years to save for IVF as we are currently saving to buy a house.

We have started trying for a baby, but it feels slightly like a chore and a lot of pressure on us both (even though we both want to do this). Has anyone else experienced this feeling?

Also I hate the feeling of waiting to see if I can conceive, the wait to know if I’m pregnant, if this is working. Has anyone else felt this way? Any positive experiences on convincing a 2nd with PCOS/PMOS?

Age limit for IVF

Do you know a reliable source for checking NHS funded IVF by postcode?

I heard that certain areas are dropping age limits from 40 to 38.

I first spoke to the GP in March asking for a referral but instead of giving it straight away he sent me to blood test and ultrasound, my partner to semen analysis. Which took only 2 weeks for me and 3 months for him because no available dates and the GP still didnt come back to comment on my ulteasound. Taking his time for sure.

Now it seems my area dropped the age limit so we are out of funds?
What is the quickest way to get started?

What would you do?

So, had my beautiful daughter in august 2024 with third round ivf and previous all failed rounds with letrozole and triggers.
We were going to be trying for number 2 via frozen embryos from same batch as our daughter this year.
But I got pregnant naturally in January/february (first time ever) which was a huge shock and completely out the blue. Unfortunately baby miscarried end of March at 8 weeks but didn’t find out until 10weeks.
Im just wondering what you would do in my situation? Would you try naturally for a couple of months (even though previous history isn’t great on outcomes) or go straight for ivf again? Many thanks

Can’t get pregnant after 4 previous pregnancy’s

So I’ve been trying to conceive for about a year now and with no luck every month I’m having sex on every day that I’m not having a period also testing ovulation I am ovulating just can’t get pregnant and don’t know why I’ve had two previous births with the healthy children to previous pregnancies before that were I had abortions in pregnancy. I have gotten pregnant within the first month of trying but now that I’m actually trying before was just like accidents I guess no I can’t seem to get pregnant even taking fertility vitamins no idea why or what Is going on 😩 my children were from previous relationships but now I am married and my husband wants a baby of his own. I just can’t seem to get pregnant and it’s breaking both of our hearts

Hopeless

Hey beautiful mamas, I’m reaching out on this app because I’m desperate to get pregnant by my fiance. I love him to pieces. We’ve been trying since March and no baby. I’ve taken Geritol, prenatals, fertility gummies, folic acid, d-chiro, all that you could think of for a baby. I also have PCOS but I have had other children. My fiance doesn’t have any children and I would like to give him a baby. I don’t know if it’s because he’s a consistent black and mild smoker but I’ve seen people get pregnant smoking so idk if it’s me or could it be because of his sperm count but I’ve bought him male fertility gummies and things that could increase his sperm count and sperm mobility. I’m just hopeless and so sad.
