Preparing for work

I’m trying to keep busy as of late. I’ve been an at-home-mom for 9 years and am now finishing up my B.A., looking for work, all that. Any moms recently transitioned from at-home to at-work? How was it? Did you jump right in or have social complexes? I think I might end up conversating about my girls too much or telling people how to wipe stains off them selves or clean their homes... Lol. Anyway, today’s a good day for me. Working on organizing my professional appearances and hoping for the best! Best wishes to you ladies out their!

I recently went back to work after being a SAHM for almost 7 years. I regret going back full time. I miss being a SAHM so much but I needed an outlet. I recommend going back part time. I’m looking for a part time job or something I can work from home.

I did go back to my 9-5 but only for 3 days and I vowed to never go sit behind a computer screen again. Our values change when we become parents, I did not want to continue to work on someone else’s dreams. I thought ide love being back at work. But I didn’t. I am going to have my own business from home and work on my terms for the rest of my days . Good luck to you going back into the workforce, I know for a lot of mums they need that outlet also

Hey lovely I’m an ambassador for mummies on a mission For me this business has meant that I don’t have to leave my little baby boy at home with my mum, instead I get to stay home with him and be there for all of his milestones. I have extra money to save for a house and we no longer strain to live off of one income I can help with the bills as well. It has changed my life physically, mentally and emotionally. I would love to help you out shoot me a message or click this link 👉🏻💖 https://mummiesonamission.com/ambassador/TaylaChant/

I just got hired last week. And the 3rd went and got stuff for work. Now I'm waiting for the manager to call me in. It's been 12yrs since I've been back to work. And I finally got a job part-time and happy to go to work. Just waiting for the phone.

Thank you for all the support. Work is a tricky topic for me. I have an insecurity when it comes to temporary work. Or commissioned work. I’m at a Segway where the next career I start I expect to support me through a transition from dependence to independence. So it needs to be full-time, a specific schedule because I have no assistance when it comes to picking up my girls or being away on weekends. So it’s been a tough search but I have to stay optimistic on this one....thank you all for the offers and support!

You go girl. Congratulations. That is awesome. I am independent but I work from home and on site as well. I am a beauty expert and I do hair and teach about it. I also volunteer a lot and help women in cancer treatment. Would love to connect more and discuss your challenges. I would be happy to support

I did. I constantly wish I could go back in time and continue to sah. But, there are pros and cons to everything. I don't talk about baby too much. I do cry in the car otw to work though because I feel like I don't see her enough anymore. Each person is different though, so you may feel opposite of me.

This is me! I cried so much in the first couple weeks and I mean like ugly cry :-(. I am at a job that's pretty understanding about me being a new mommy, but it is so hard feeling like I'm abandoning my son and that he doesn't miss me or that he will miss me, the whole experience has just been kind of stressful. I have so much respect for everyone who's able to stay at home with their children I think it's a huge blessing. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this and I totally understand

I miss them when they’re gone for a few hours to grammas and I’m just here at home! Lol. I grew up very different from them. More independent and participating in clubs, camps, and church things. My parents both worked. I feel like I’m depriving them of independence and experience keeping them with me all the time. Either way work-life is coming because I need to support myself and them! I’ve been helicoptering for a long. Lol
