Anyone starting a new program soon!? I plan to start tomorrow but would love to have a virtual workout partner. Just a friend who works out too!

I’m starting the gym tomorrow and the eating will come Thursday after I grocery shop.

Starting a workout program today, too!

Hi all! I’m new to the group and first time mom to a 7 week old boy. Any tips on workouts and nutrition while breast feeding ?? I haven’t lost any weight since the week of delivery!!feeling discouraged.

I wouldn't stress so mich at 7weeks. You were pretty much in a car crash you need time to recover. It took me 4 months to feel ready to walk around and 6 to start workouts

Thanks for that!! I am in a wedding in 2.5 months so that’s my major motivation... I don’t expect to look pre-baby any time soon!

No, you can do a free 7 day trial and then it's a monthly or annual subscription.

I’m starting 80 day obsession on 3/4. It’s thru beach body. I have a coach and it’s a faith based group. We will see how it goes. 😬

I use the “aflete” app and follow Lisafiitt’s guides. They are challenging but they have sculpted my body like I could never have imagined. Come try fit4mom omaha south at la vista community center. There is stroller strides, stroller barre, and body back. Its awesome to work out with moms who "get" you!

I've been doing the sweat app aswell as my own program i made for myself so far lost 12kg all up 31kg since bub was born almost 7 months ago ... would reccomend the sweat app they have a postpartum workout plan to which i started off on

I like Xtend Barre online via OpenFit. It’s really fun! I go to a local barre studio too but the online is my backup/supplement.

CIZE by Beachbody! I absolutely love it!

I just started round 2 of a 20 minute per day program. I love lifting @ the gym, but workouts at home are what I can manage right now.

I work out at Kaia Fit (UStick @ Cole) and love it. It’s women only & usually small class size (10-15ish), and even though it’s group class they tell you how to cater it to your fitness level so it works no matter where you are starting. It’s also a whole host of ages & sizes, so you never feel like the chubby one or slow one in the room. Results are great if you stick with the program (eat clean as you can & work out).

We have the Peloton and I am about to start a 3 workouts a week on some challenge they are doing!!! God help me!!! Don't use it that often but need to kick my butt into gear!!

I actually made a work out plan for myself for month 1hr 5 days a week. I'm not going to deny it the first days the pain was unbearable. I had sore muscles for a week. But after a few days I seemed to have with more energy. It really brings benefits when you are motivated and have a goal in mind.

I use beachbody piyo, pre and post yoga and zumba! I do them at home!

I work out at the ymca in Barberton, I lift 3ish days a week and would love to work out with someone! I would like to start running soon when spring comes if anybody is interested:)

Fit4Mom is cool. The first class is free, drop in classes $20 and if you buy a package each class gets as low as $8 per visit. Might be worth looking into if you can’t find childcare but still want to workout. Goodluck!

I do Strong by Zumba and Zumba Fitness at home and in the gym. Strong is amazing for toning and Zumba is wonderful for cardio. Everytime I do these workouts, I never actually feel like I'm working out; its just a fun stress release! Zumba and Strong by Zumba have at home workouts that can be bought on Dvd and they also have many on YouTube. I love the classes at the gym more though because I find working out with others in class with me boosts my motivation, and its a fun way to make new friends. Id love to be a workout accountability partner if you would like 😊. With all the interest on here, it would be cool to start a private facebook group for all the mommas to join and post in!

Just started my membership at lifetime fitness and will have a trainer helping out next week. 🏋️ plan on getting my butt and stomach back.

I’m on my 3rd week of the 21 day fix. I really love it!

That’s probably my fave. I’ve done it a few times.

When you did it, did you do two workouts a day halfway through? On the 21 day fix app it has two workouts now. Says it’s optional, just wondering if anyone actually does it :)

That’s awesome! I actually haven’t lost any weight yet but quite a few inches! I’m going to take a few days off when I’m done & redo it. Probably a few times.
