10 weeks :( but it wasn’t a proper period though... so maybe a fluke? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Over a year later

I had one at two months, but haven’t had another one since then, and my baby is now seven months

I had pp bleeding for 10 weeks then i had my period 2 weeks after. 😐 and I have the IUD and was told my periods would get lighter and shorter. The exact opposite happened. I had my period for like 2 months at a time.

I have an IUD and was told the oppsite...

Just asked this in my other breastfeeding group. Crazy how variable everyone was. It’s been 10 months and nothing so far for me.

Ughh. It was like 2 months pp for me & he was breastfed (& I pumped at work) for 1 year. One of the benefits of breastfeeding was supposed to be none of that period nonsense 🤣

Haven’t had one yet and my son is 6 months

Mine started as soon as my baby started on solids / mixed feeding like literally on cue. 😀

I also had one light period for a few days around the 9 week mark pp but then nothing ever again, my son is 6 months next week but still feeds at least 5 times a day (not sure if that makes a difference)! I used to get very irregular, heavy, 6 day long and painful periods before I was pregnant, now I don’t even remember what they are 😳😅

I do not breastfeed exclusively. I tried initially because my supply was great but my supply declined and the pump started to hurt so I nurse as a snack and soothing source for my little. As well as throughout the night. I bled for a long time postpartum (~6 weeks) on and off but haven’t seen what I would consider a period yet. It does worry me as my little is almost 7 months.

After my first pregnancy, I got my period at 3 months postpartum. With my son, it was about 9 months when I started getting it on and off. My son is 18 months now and it’s gotten more regular.

9 months

I would also like to know because I Am exclusively breastfeeding and haven’t had a period at all since I gave birth 5 months ago

I had mine right away and they were normal the entire time I was breastfeeding.

My son is almost 7 months and I'm still waiting on mine!

2 1/2 months pp. 🤬

6 weeks after delivery for both my kids.

Me too!

Yup and I ended up pregnant just 3 months after delivery lol 😂

Got mine at month 3 or 4. I exclusively breast fed for the first 6 months but I went back to work after 2 months and I was using the breast pump and I had trouble pumping on schedule so that may have caused me to start early I don’t know.

Still waiting... my daughter turned 9 months today

12 weeks with first and 6 weeks with second 🤬

That Sucks!!!

3 Months after she was born ! Still breastfeeding she’s 16 months 🌟

About 7 months but it's still inconsistent

when she was 2 and a half and i went from on demand feedings to night time only.

10 months

I haven't yet and my daughter is 9 1/2 months.

I ebf my first for 6 mos. and continued to feed on demand past that. I didnt get my period until 18 mos. postpartum. But everyone is different.

Nearly 5months since havin my girl, she has began weaning, n im still waitin for it xx

I had a period after I was done bleed with the after birth. Then at 6 weeks for birth control and haven’t had a period since I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding for 13 months so maybe that has something to do with not getting a period at all

8 months PP and I haven’t gotten mine yet...not like I miss it at this point lol I’ve only had 2 since April 2016 🤯

7 months in. Just got mine 😂

I had period three months after baby was born and I ebf

I’m EPing but also weaning and am down to 2ppd..just got my first pp period today at 12wpp

I stopped bleeding from recovery within the first week home... my period started two weeks later. And lasted two weeks. Now I’m on it again after only a two week break. Really weird but hoping it’ll go back to normal once birth control kicks in.

6 weeks after pushing out my daughter. Sucked so bad. But I’m okay with it now. Last month we intentionally tried to get pregnant. And I’m 5 weeks along. I’m happy now.

Honestly I’m curious about this question too because I’m still currently breastfeeding my baby girl she’s 1 years old now and I still have yet to get my period

Okay ! Thank you

I am no longer breastfeeding or pumping and my doc had said most the time depending on how your body is it can take up to a month after you have stopped breast feeding to get it.

Like my 5th week :( I searched up why I got it so early since I’m breastfeeding and it’s because she can sleep through the whole night. In order for you to not get your period right away you have to consistently breastfeed day and night.

Two years - my period didn't come back until I stopped breastfeeding my daughter at two years

My daughter is 11 mo and I exclusively breastfeed. I had mirena put in 6 weeks after birth. I've had odd spotting, but no actual period...probably bc of the mirena, but I definitely get the cramps 🤬

I got my period 2 months after my little boy was born.

Got mine at 6 months post partum. Haven't gotten my second one yet. I've been told it's normal to have irregular periods at this point.

i am currently 7 weeks post partum and getting spotting while on mini pill

I didn’t get a period for 6 months while breastfeeding.

A month 🙄🤬 my Lactation consultant told me since I’m letting my baby sleep longer stretches (it happened a week after she started sleeping 4 hours straight at night) it triggers something in my body to start my period! She said it’s a sign I’m very fertile and I gotta be careful... it doesn’t seem fair sigh

My daughter is 8 months and still haven’t got my period. She doesn’t use a bottle or a pacifier.

I exclusively breastfed my daughter until 16 months, shes now 17 months, I didnt start having my period until a year after she was born. I basically didnt have a period for over 1 year & 10 months. And now expecting baby #2 ❤

I'm presently breastfeeding ( my 7 month old) I got my period at 4 months post and again 6months. It's not exact🤷🏻‍♀️ I thought I wouldn't get one buttttt clearly I was wrong lol

I didn’t get it with my first daughter until she was 21mos & she nursed around the clock still at the point - no bottle or paci. Not sure with our second babe, that I got pregnant with right after my first cycle lol.

Thanks everyone! From what I’ve gathered there’s no way to truly tell when your period is coming lol. I’ve just been feeling really crampy lately like I’m About to get my period but it never comes.

I have an eleven week old that is breastfed & have been the same exact way. really crampy but no period

I got mine at 7 months because that’s when he started sleeping through the night. We haven’t had any issues as far as supply dip when it’s that time of the month or with me workout.

I am surprised to see my period comes back today . I am 9 weeks postpartum and have been on mini pills for a week now
