Weight loss

Mommas. I’m trying to not be hard on myself but I’m coming up on 7 months postpartum and I’m still about 10 lbs away from where I was at pre pregnancy and it just makes me sad. How long did it take you all?

Well I can tell you as some one who is 15 months pp I am still 15 pounds away from my pre weight! It’s a struggle but you aren’t alone. I try to take encouragement from the fact that your hormones don’t even settle for several months after for the weight loss to be consistent. Genes play a part as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️ if that pictures is of you you look great! ❤️

Hey momma. I’m a mom of 3 girls. It’s been a while since having my kids, but for each of them, I lost it fairly quickly after since I nursed all 3 exclusively. Don’t focus on the weight. Focus on the healthy lifestyle habits. Weight will come as a benefit from that if your body needs to lose. When you’re stressed or anxious, your body doesn’t or CAN’T do it’s job, leaving excess weight on. It completely shuts down digestion and a few other important things, just to handle the stress alone. As someone who’s been on my own weight loss journey for 5 years now, I’ve learned so much about the effects of stress on the body, and how the mind and thoughts play a major role in physical and mental health. Focus on activities and lifestyle habits & routines that will provide quality health, and the weight loss will be a natural result of that, as well as feeling amazing, more energy, etc. Hope this helps. Here if you need any more advice or recommendations.
